The Tasty Monday n°5

Hi, today we are going to teach you how to cook a Chicken Dijon with Mushrooms to impress your friends with your cooking abilities!

Price: Less than 5€/Pers.
Time: Less than 20min

The Ingredients:

– 250g of White Chicken Meat
– 2 Teaspoons of Mustard
– 100g of Mushrooms
– 20cl of Cream
– Olive Oil
– Salt & Pepper

The Recipe:

– Cut the chicken in little pieces.
– Brown the chicken in a frying pan with some oil.
– Season to taste with salt and pepper.
– Add the mushrooms and let them cook for 2 minutes.
– Then add the creme and the mustard.
– Mix well and leave to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.


This is the result, Mmmh .. Yummy !

A quick way to improve your cup noodles!

Buy any cup noodles you like,

then all you need to is add two things:

 -> Coconut milk AND Curry <-

Add as much as you like until it fits your taste!

It will make it taste even better.

Its that simple.

Once you have added both the ingredients,

the water inside will be more like soup.

It will also be much thicker and your cup of noodles

will be more than enough to make you full.

The Delicious Friday N°4

Welcome everybody! Those who want a balanced meal and easy to prepare, you’ll be satisfied!

Today, we show you a typical recipe: The stir-fried beef noodles embellished with vegetables! If you’re a genuine fan of Asian specificities, especially noodles, this one  may perfectly suits your expectations!

Nouilles chinoises sautées au boeuf

The Ingredients:

-6 ounces uncooked wide rice sticks (rice-flour noodles)
-1 tablespoon canola oil
-1 cup thinly sliced green onions
-2/3 pound top sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
-2 cups sliced shiitake mushroom caps
-2 garlic cloves, finely minced
-1 (6-ounce) bag washed baby spinach
-2 tablespoons rice vinegar
-1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
-3 tablespoons lower-sodium soy sauce
-2 teaspoons grated peeled fresh ginger
-2 teaspoons Sriracha (hot chile sauce)
-1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
The Preparation:
 First of all, you need to cook noodles according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain and rinse under cold water and at last drain it.

Afterwards, heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Don’t forget to add canola oil to pan; swirl to coat, sevreal ingredients like onions and steak, stir-fry 1 minute. Add mushrooms and garlic; stir-fry 1 minute. Add a bit of spinach; stir-fry 1 minute or until greens wilt.

At last, combine rice vinegar and the next 4 ingredients (through Sriracha) in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk. Add vinegar mixture to steak mixture; cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Do the same in noodles, sesame oil, and salt; cook for 1 minute or until noodles are thoroughly heated, tossing to combine. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

The Delicious Friday n°3

I don’t know about you, but what I like to do on a Sunday morning is to sleep a lot and get up lately and maybe sometimes till the lunch time. I don’t want to eat anything sweet at this time, but all I want is something salty and feeding.
So today, I suggest you one of my favorite recipe, the Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich !

The Ingredients : 

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 2 slices whole-wheat bread, toasted
  • 1 large egg plus 1 large egg white, lightly beaten
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cheese

The Preparation : 

In a medium nonstick skillet, cook bacon over medium until warmed through, 2 minutes.
Transfer bacon to 1 slice toast.
Season eggs with salt and pepper; add to skillet and cook until set around edge, about 2 minutes.
Flip and cook 30 seconds.
Fold into quarters and place on bacon; top with tomato and season with salt and pepper. Spread cheese on remaining toast, and sandwich.


Now it’s your turn to play the budding chef. A little advice I give to you is to accompany the sandwich with a cup orange juice !

The Tasty Monday n°3

On the menu today, the famous and delicious « Fish and Chips » !
You will need less than 20 minutes to prepare it and 10 to 30 for the cooking time, and it’s worth it !

The Ingredients :

  • 200 g white fish fillets : haddock or cod
  • 2 eggs separ ted
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teas seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teas seasoned pepper
  • 6-8 large potatoes (depending on how hungry you are), peeled and sliced into chips

The Preparation : 

For the fish :
Cut into triangle pieces. Towel dry. Beat egg yolks till thick and light. Blend in beer, milk, flour and seasonings. Mix till smooth. Beat egg whites stiff but not dry.
Fold in dip fillets into batter lift out and drain slightly. Deep fry in hot fat 180° 2-3 min or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.

For the chips :
Put the potatoes into the fryer and allow them to fry gently for about 8-10 minutes, until they are soft but still pale. Check they’re cooked by piercing with a small, sharp knife. Drain on paper towel.

The Delicious Friday n°2

     We give you The stir fried tomatoes and egg!      


 famous for it’s simplicity and incredible taste.

This is a traditional Chinese family dish prepared at almost ever meal!

 Even for those who don’t like tomatoes, this is definitely not a deal breaker!

I strongly recommend that you try this recipe.

It is very quick to prepare and does not need much ingredients.

You probably already have everything you need so why not give it a try?

If you are preparing this only for yourself, these are the ingredients and the proportions that you will need:

– 150 grammes of tomatoes

– 1/4 of a garlic

– 2 coffee spoons of oil

– A pinch of salt (roughly 1/4 of a spoon)

– 2 eggs

ANNND voila!

Once you have rounded up all the ingredients you need, your good to go!


First you need to ready all the ingredients. Start by cutting the tomatoes any way you prefer. Then cut the thin slices of garlic. Once your done grab a bowl and beat the eggs as you would preparing an omelette. Add the salt directly in the bowl.

Now we start the cooking!

Start by putting the tomatoes in the pan followed by the oil (5ml). Wait a few seconds then go ahead and add the garlic followed by a pinch of extra salt. let in cook for a while until the the tomatoes and other ingredients are covered with oil. Finally, you can add the eggs in the pan and stir until the eggs are cooked.

Now, this might look like an simple omelette with tomatoes to you. But you can believe  that this simple recipe will most likely blow your taste buds sky high!

The Tasty Monday n°2

On the menu today, I propose you to cook a « Turkey Curry ». This recipe is very easy-making. You will need 15 minutes for the preparation and 45 minutes for the cooking.

The Ingredients:

– 250 grammes of turkey wings
– 1 onion
– 1 turkey bouillon cube
– Some curry powder
– Water
– And little bit of butter

The Preparation:

First of all sliced the onion, and put it in a pan with butter and turkey wing.
Bring the turkey bouillon cube to a boil with water and some curry powder.
If you want, you can put some salt.
Finally put your mix of turkey wing into the pan and leave around 45 minutes, you will have to cover the all and leave it to simmer partially covered.
